How does Faith in God tie into my skill set and talents?

Realistically I have never denied my faith in God, Christ, and Mary alongside with so many other notoriously ancient spiritual characters. I feel like we all get tested in life whether we are employed by other companies or restructuring our own small businesses. Evolving into an indie film maker and costume design has allowed me to grow more spiritually and mentally. Surprisingly this idea has come about through more seclusion , heavy meditation, fasting and yes of course prayer plus scripture study. You tube has been exceptionally beneficial along with AI experimentation on Google to help research things that I don't always understand immediately. Upon participating in Dreaming of Haute part 2 in 2024 for Mystical gardens I found myself subversive & slightly obsessive over what it must of been like to reside in the Garden of Eden. I had began construction of my Fantasy creatures and characters that included a Cosmic Mother Mary in SIlver for the Futurism segment for this non profit Fashion show to raise money for Dreaming of Haute.

Since then I have been very happy with doing less fashion work and doing more character development and costume design to wardrobe models whom aspire to become actors and actresses. This is another topic I feel that my faith in Christ has been crucial to leading me in. I spend time ever just editing short film reels and submitting for competitons. In the summer of 2024 with Mr. Jerry Garcia I would discover myself in a whole new light as a Creative on sight director for THEMODELSCLOSET.com.

He had purchased a unit that had modern vintage womens active wear, semi formals and street wear from a boutique that shut down in 2020. I had so much fun creating the catalog of outfits and the first thing I though of was to reach out to a handful of previous indie models whom needed new portfolio work as much as I did too! We signed a lease contract with Regus Colonnade and did almost all of our recording in an actual office as well as in the lobby. Unfortunately due to an online glitch in the digital contract my business partner Mr. Garcia ended up paying double for one month and we only got to shoot for 5 days instead of 10. The greatest part was I also got to mix my designs and costumes with his boutique garments! We got to work with San Antonio Models that loved fashion just as much I did growing up. Thanks to people like Kara Jackson, Damion Sangster, LeeLee Keigler ( Starlisa), Victoria Parseley, Lynn Tbn, Sar Lucy St. Aras, Catroy Hethington, Jusiah Morales, Nora Gonzales.

Since last summer I have resumed as a seamstress and designer for other brands branching out of Mr. Jerry Garcia's company known as #BIKINICOLADA, #OHMYGOTH.com, #FLIRTYCHIC' . All three brands emphasis and focus on different trends inspired from a vast time period of the 1960's to Millennium. Flirty Chic is the lingerie line that has yet to be showcased but is still under construction. He is currently shooting for his films of #BikiniColada right now. I just delivered his inventory June 10, 2025. I also released a mini sample of bikinis from #LADYLYRIA'S #CLOSET. 2 of the my designs sold!

On another path to faith in motion just as the world is always changing the concepts of charity do not. Mathew 6;1-34 concerned about what you give in practicing righteousness before others. Sewing is something that I love to do but on my own schedule and terms where I can edit my deadlines at any point. When you give to the needy never let your left know what your right is doing. Giving should alwasy be in secret. No I do not pray on the street corners but I do encourage others to pray and to HOPE.

As Lauryn Hill once said If I have not love then I have nothing at all from the song; " TELL HIM" from the "Miseducation of Lauryn Hill" Album. 1st Corinthians 13:2.... My designing lifestyle and small business plus film making is an act of love towards humanity as well as an appreciation for Art Design. It is also a cornerstone for Education, Reading, and researching to align people to a better future. Being a designer is not about fads or simple market trends. Every Dollar earned is worthy of a celebration regardless of how long you have been in the game. Our clothing collections were never meant to be locked away in a vault, storage, closet, tote box , or dress bag. Buy and Sell is an aspect of business between several people as well as the product. Everyone knows that homeade goods on the market are worth more then wholesale manufacturing. This is the epitome of why we should continue to broadcast supporting small businesses.

On another note my American dream entales alot of things... I never became a designer to become Rich... I went to business design school to increase the quality of life for my family and myself beyond residential and commercial... Every designer knows we wouldn't even be known by the world if it weren't for the #INTERNET andf #INTRANET.

Lastly I would like to add that millions of us across the USA serve every day people in regular mundane and laborious jobs indoors and out doors. TOO often do we only get the true recognition and respect that we deserve when we show case. Lots of times the over head fees and venue fees are far to high for us to even do fashion shows and the return is not cost effective thats why just upload images to our social Media platforms and online stores. IF the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT really did believe in us merging with Corporate Retailers and buyers they would help pick up the expense of showrooms and incubators as well as residential areas so we could focus more on the design aspects.

The next major project that I am designing for is The CHRONIC ILLNESS AWARENESS Fashion Show by BRENTWOOD MODELS & ASSOCIATES of SAN ANTONIO TEXAS! Show time is July 27th 2025 5pm to 8pm ....
