There is far much more to Womanhood then ULTA Beauty, Sephora, and DSW shoes. I don't judge my clients on whether they buy Louis Vuitton or Michael Kors... I observe whether they even are aware of whom I am as a person or as a brand . Being a Sustainable fashion designer that is conscious of the systems, and cycles of the global industry isn't a joke.  What others may consider junk can be a master piece to the Fashionholics.

Most men consider the world of fashion to be a joke or a hoax until it involves them.  From what I have seen in South Texas for 30 years is that Latin men want to be remembered for more then their credit lines and benefits. Other men wont even bother with their appearances.

 

Another aspect of men's fashion that has recently inspired my men's wear is Dandyism from the tristate Area which I witnessed from my own biological father growing up; in similarity Latin Pachucos have implemented the zoot suits and Stacy Adams in honor of the civil rights era from the 1960's.

 

  I am fond of the denim bell bottoms because its not only a replication of the mermaid movement but also of women's rights and independence. The  basic work environment has become so contemporary casual for all of us. To this day why should Texas stylists and Fashion designers have to struggle with being taken seriously? It is only in the parallel of other brands mixed with our own independent brand that we can be noticed for all the right reasons. The best way to silently sell your style or International trend is to wear it to college, to work, to church, to dates, to events, to shows, to other fashion or concert events.  Social media does a world of good for small businesses but you put in the hours. Sol proprietors don't work 40 hours a week, they typically work 60-90 hours a week and if they have to hunt for their clients its even more challenging. Yet to this day even with Climate shifts and ozone issues plus solar storms.... the heat beats all of us down every time. High frequency fabrics are fresher and more comfortable then our laboratory stretchy synthetics. It seems common for us to take a back up outfit, shoes, and coat with an umbrella almost every day to work especially if you live in a city. The weather can change at the drop of a quarter and the meteorologists don't always predict accurately. 

Another aspect of Evolution are the modeling photos I used to take in my twenties versus my 40's!

Being a naturally happy woman doesn't come easy. My own body has been through so much heaven and hell as a mom! The body I had at 26 versus now at 41 is vastly different... I couldn't pull off half of my looks with out my waist trainers and corsets... I couldn't even deal with the natural weight loss process if it wasn't for the alkaline diet, daily stretching plus walking. Plastic surgery may work for some but not for all and sometimes fear can be the perfect motivator. Through other friends I would recommend Sonobello or Mia Aesthetics.

Recently in the past two years I have become a grandmother to 2 beautiful litte girls and even more so while still enjoy my synthetic weaves and golden cleavage... which has nothing to do with radiation...lol... I enjoy the silver streaks in my hair.  Aging gracefully is not only a basic pleasure but a comfort. Cosmetics for me is an option . Its not mandated. I dont go to the hair salons every month or bother getting my nails done because the majority of my weekly schedule of small jobs and house chores involves using my hands. I don't like to be hindered. Alot of the work I do with my fashion sales businesses are done online. I still do most of my own sewing as well.

 Within American and Global consumerism there is absolutely nothing wrong with liquidation sales as well as  half off... and women already know that the global economy needs cash and credit hand in hand.

 

Beauty is not simply skin deep...its a reflection of our souls with our  personality and character. Proverbs 10:9, 11:3, 28.6 . Walk in Integrity, security, and guidance. Psalms 25:21 and 41:12 to walk in Divine favor , integrity and protection.

My hopes for my businesses are in my God Psalm 25:21- Psalm 41:12.
