Lady Lyria's Was Long Ago 
Considered Sustainable in micro-production long before it was even considered popular as far back as 2008 when being a single mom in Fashion design school living on an extremely limited income was not an option. For the past 17 years I have been able to demonstrate and showcase repeatedly not only online but in person how being assigned a specific budget yet utilizing my sewing skills can grant me the ability to create the most beautiful of designs. My fashion invokes Feminine Artistry with Intercultural Modernism inspired from both modern and ancient Civilizations through the planet.  To this day I am very selective to whom I sell to and I also provide alteration /tailoring services.  I rarelu duplicate my designs and most of the time I do all my own sewing. There are times I do purchase discount overstock stores as well as thrift stores for resources . I enjoy mixing and blending both synthetic fabrics with natural fabrics to increase frequency and vibes. Typically when some one inquires in one of my designs that they may have seen on social media I provide a consultation through facebook or in person. I have also had occasional commissions from Entertainment clients as well . If this is something you would like my flat labor fee rate due to inflation has increased from $25 an hour to $45 an hour plus you will need insight on how to select the fabrics and trimmings. Currently my collections cover womens wear, Ladies wear, junior wear, girls, boys, and men's wear. I also have a unique collection of masks and diadems. I feel at this midpoint of my Adult life that while being a seamstress has gotten me by since 2008 it has not delivered what I have needed or truly desired. Yes I have done many fashion shows through out San Antonio and Uvalde but the marketing strategy has left me previously in the Red. Plus with the revolution of Fast fashion through SHEIN, TEMU, and Zara with the new 55 seasons its become almost impossible to gai new clients. While upcycling has become the new cornerstone of my design process . I've grown in isolation these past 2-3 years since May 24,2022. My shelf life for 6 years was as a public servant as a Substitute teacher in Uvalde when I didn't have much business as a freelance designer.

Eye was even blessed to be a Summer Fine Arts Academy Costume designer. Mass shootings affect peoples lives. It interrupts the very fabric, trust, structure, and sense of community that had inhabited us for more then decades. As a former educator I fell in love with being compensated to teach after school for ACE . My 9 week curriculum at Uvalde High Involved:

• pattern drafting,

• learning to use a measuring tape

• illustrating fashions on different croquis templates

• Learning about fabrics, their durability and quality.

• Learning how to actually operate a SEWING MACHINE  as well as obtaining light matienance on it.

• Learning how to care for their own fashion designs and display them

• Learning how to model confidently, pose and align with other models in synchronicity

• Learning how to utilize free resources online for back ground music and to create visual merchandising displays

• Observing famous European fashion designer and their shows in alignment with American  designers

• The majority of my 4 to 20 students were made of of freshman  & sophomores.

• Eventually I would go on offering small sewing classes under various names in libraries through out Bexar County and Uvalde County but it would be short lived.

• In the meantime I have come to realize that what I should be focused on is packaging and selling what I already had... My clothing and costume lines... I'm open for negotiating.... and I am finally read to sell. 

• Designers don't pay enough to the social reaction they cause when they stand out with their own unique trends.... We do our selves an injustice by not owning our personal style. 

• On another note I have never been the type of female that wanted to look like every one else. While I do tend to favor certain trends from Fashion nova, Shien, and yes dare I say Walmart, Cato, and Torrid ..... I love mixing my own designs with theirs as well.
