From Fashion into Style: EVOLVED!

Intercultural Modernism was born through working with THEMODELSCLOSET.COM by Mr. Jerry Garcia in the summer of 2024. I never realized till then that I could have so much fun mixing my own inventory with is former boutique inventory! Not to mention being a freelance designer and indie specialty model allowed for me to hand select a number of other models that I had previously worked closely with in other smaller fashion productions.

I have always said that a Designer is nothing without their models. Inclusion is something that is very important to me when it comes to the imagery of my fashion art. Its not favoritism or even nepotism. If I decide to work repeatedly with a set of models its because I love their personality and I do get that intuitive feeling about them. Doing last summers project also allowed me to work on my editor skills more frequently too. Similar to the success in my digital content and design process is the loyalty and constant restitution of my business partner and romantic partner Michael Cortez. I have lost track of how many times he has petitioned non profits to donate food to both of us in these times of struggle ...to keep all these creative ventures going for Lady Lyria's Fashion Consulting as well as Lady Lyria's Productions with Auguste Apparel. I feel like this year I shall be doing more styling with all the former fashion collections I have constructed . I get to also focus more on sales and rentals. The low point of suffering this year was when all 3 of my sewing machine motors died out in February ; ironically I had temporarily returned to Burlesque dancing with my own customized outfits just like when I was in fashion school in my late 20's. It would be very short lived and what I had hoped I would make to update equipment expenses turned to be a lose lose situation. When Mr. Garcia called to me to hire me back on for the next mini episodes of the Models Closet! I grew super excited ! Only this time he was registering Bikini Colada officially!!!! So currently aside from getting ready for certain Fiesta San Antonio charity events I am also constructing swimwear for men and women!!!!!

I haven't constructed a swim suit since 2018 and 2011! Not because I'm not good at it but simply because I would spend more time covering up peoples bodies versus revealing them. I just think on route to being 42 year old woman that I should embrace living alittle for the fun and passion of the ART in fabric and design . Lets keep it sexy with healthy cleavage and full coverage on the backside! As for the men. I shall give you snug trunks with special pockets for your southern elephants! The best part about directing the mini episdes is that we are working with actors that are 21 and up! I think the one episde that I am hyped about the most that is not on the flyers is #Bikinibunnies! On another note I am looking forward to my episodes known as #FLIPFLOPPED and #LIFESAVER.
