In the Gold with February!

So one of my former clients had asked me last spring to be a brides maid for her wedding. She had mentioned that the color scheme was maroon and gold. Well due to Covid 19 the wedding was post poned till this February. I found this image on Ericdress and decided this is what I wanted to wear for the wedding. Of course my client and friend approved and I decided to make my version of it instead of ordering because we were less then two weeks away from the date of Feb. 6 2021... This was the end result.

Making this one sleeve dress design was simple and fun. When you know how to take your own measurements anything is possible.

I would like to encourage anyone on their creative events to challenge themselves in discovering their beauty through fashion. I was able to find the fabric at #WALMART for $7.98 a yard. I bought 2 yards.. and rushed home to start cutting and sewing.
