So all of this started the week of Spring break and the whole world literally changed. I was employed as a substitute teacher part time but then ended up un employed so I thought to myself why not make masks! This carried me through for 2 months and then I applied for unemployment. There are so many unique styles and patterns in the market now. I took the time to do some research of the materials in making my masks and then began with a paper pattern. I want you to know that this was certainly not a means to simply profit off of others. I wanted to create a product that would be fashionable and beneficial. Hence the reason for poly- propylene. Here is a link for advice on fabrics: https://www.thomasnet.com/articles/other/how-surgical-masks-are-made/?fbclid=IwAR2e7yrClEWlZSb427vYptpNggnCJjC3lbkxZ_aLSWZljJImMN86G7tUj6c.
Scroll down to the subtopic: " How Surgical masks are made" in the link above.
This second image is a video showing what happens when you spray a liquid into the
( polypropylene) filter side of the mask. Experiment successful!
So as you can see from the first video on top and the videos down below I do not limit myself when it comes to orders. I offer a wide variety of fabrics and masks in various styles whether elastic or ties.
So earlier this year my latest price was $7.00 but to compete with the my market I decided to lower it to $5.00 . Shipping is $4.00 for 1-6 masks and is $8.00 for 7-15 masks. You can inbox me if you are interested. I have completely new fabrics in since then and can email you or facebook the images.
The latest in my mask designs would be the Halloween collection!
I usually package in a zip block bag with a card or label along with a care label tag as to how to wash and dry the mask. These videos are just a pin drop of the orders that I did this Spring and Summer. I hope to do more soon.
